Lead Generation Specialist – Automotive Engineering Services (US Market)
Position Overview
Lead Generation Specialist to build US automotive sales pipeline for Embedded, IT, Connectivity (HIL/SIL), and Product Design services. Operating from Bengaluru with travel support, this role feeds qualified opportunities to BDMs targeting $5M quarterly pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate 50+ qualified leads/month through LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, and US automotive databases targeting OEM engineering and Tier-1 purchasing teams.
- Research US automotive RFPs (SAM.gov, Merx, OEM portals) and position for Embedded Systems, HIL/SIL testing, and Product Design opportunities.
- Conduct 50+ discovery calls/week qualifying leads by technical needs, budget ($500K+), and decision-making authority using BANT framework.
- Support trade shows (CES, SAE WCX) and webinars with lead capture, follow-up, and US travel as needed (20-30%).
- Create targeted content (case studies, HIL/SIL whitepapers) and email campaigns highlighting InOpTra’s German/EU automotive delivery excellence.
- Score leads (75%+ qualification rate) and handoff to BDMs with detailed opportunity summaries in CRM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering /Business; 3+ years lead generation in automotive/engineering services.
- Strong US automotive domain knowledge (EV, ADAS, connectivity trends) with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot.
- Experience with HIL/SIL terminology, Embedded Systems RFPs, and automotive engineering sales cycles.
- US travel willingness (EXPO, conferences); excellent US business English.
- Proven metrics: 40% lead-to-meeting conversion; IST-US timezone adaptability.
