Design Engineer (1-3 Years Experience)

Location: Bangalore- Inoptra office

Job Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience, you’ll be responsible for modelling, drafting, designing of Mechanical systems (including piping) You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, technicians, and other departments to ensure that projects meet specifications and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Drafting: Creation and modification of mechanical component & piping 3D models and drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Plant3D, AutoCAD).
2. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in mechanical designs, systems, or processes, often under the supervision of senior engineers.
3. Work closely with piping engineers, Mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and other team members to integrate piping &mechanical systems with structural and electrical systems in the project.
4. Maintain project documentation like drawing revision control, check prints, checklists etc.
5. Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field from a reputed institute.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Plant 3D etc.).
• Good understanding of engineering principles and strong design fundamentals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with design and modelling tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Plant3D etc.
